On my way from Manchester to Weston-Super-Mare I needed to change trains at Newport, where I photographed this lady passenger searching the monitor for information about her train.

A traveller's moment well caught. Even her anxiety about catching her train comes through. Not quite level, and I would suggest a bottom trim to remove some of the empty platform in the foreground. (Bob Avery)

An everyday scene, the lost soul trying to read the monitor before it scrolls down to another section. Pictures such as this really evoke the day-to-day life of the railway, this is an excellent example (Geoff Dowling)

 

This makes a fascinating pair with Flitcroft 1: a smart and colourful train, high tech information, but only two people. (Martin Higginson)

 

Where now? which platform? is it late? Captures a scene well that's repeated thousands of times each day. The 170 unit is perfectly placed too. (Jonathan Cordle)
